Among the highlights:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/cnews.canoe.ca\/CNEWS\/Canada\/2006\/02\/28\/1466933-cp.html\">Martin Cauchon <\/a>is in the news and has suddenly opened up to alternative health care solutions and flexible federalism. I&#8217;ve always liked Cauchon, but I&#8217;d have a tough time supporting anyone who makes the fiscal imbalance and asymmetrical federalism one of his top priorities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/lfpress.ca\/newsstand\/News\/Local\/2006\/02\/28\/1465768-sun.html\">Joe Fontana <\/a>is seriously considering a run at Liberal leadership. He has no doubt been inspired by Tom Wappell&#8217;s 1990 bid.<\/p>\n<p>-On the other end of the quality candidate spectrum, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/NASApp\/cs\/ContentServer?pagename=thestar\/Layout\/Article_Type1&#038;c=Article&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;cid=1141168215690&#038;call_pageid=970599109774&amp;col=Columnist969907623279\">darling of the blogosphere <\/a>seems to be marching towards a leadership bid.<br \/><strong><em>Update: <\/em><\/strong>There&#8217;s more Kennedy stuff <a href=\"http:\/\/www.warrenkinsella.com\/musings.htm\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/electgerardkennedy.blogspot.com\/\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canada.com\/ottawacitizen\/news\/story.html?id=1b84d614-f2cf-475a-b5cd-50fdfa867fd9&amp;k=97254\">here<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/bestworsttimes.blogspot.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-As observed by several <a href=\"http:\/\/liberalleadership06.blogspot.com\/\">other blogs<\/a>, Belinda Stronach has no Liberal logo anywhere on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.belinda.ca\/home.asp\">her website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-Speaking of Belinda, Reg Alcock is quite intrigued by this economic pie she keeps promising to bake, and it looks like he&#8217;s<a href=\"http:\/\/harperbizarro.blogspot.com\/2006\/03\/some-grit-stuffremember-reg-alcock.html\"> jumping on board her campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-The kids at <a href=\"http:\/\/fuddle-duddle.blogspot.com\/\">Fuddle Duddle <\/a>are up in arms over the Quebec Young Liberals President, Brigitte Legault&#8217;s decision to back Belinda Stronach for leadership.<\/p>\n<p>-There&#8217;s a<a href=\"http:\/\/lpcinsider.blogspot.com\/\"> new blog <\/a>up and running from a &#8220;LPC insider&#8221;. I&#8217;m obligated to link to it, due to my policy of hyping any blogs which refer to me as a &#8220;clever guy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>-Out good friend Joe Volpe is in the news <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctv.ca\/servlet\/ArticleNews\/story\/CTVNews\/20060301\/teddies_taxpayers_060301\/20060301?hub=TopStories\">yet again<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>UPDATE:<\/em><\/strong> Apparently Anne McLellan is going to be <a href=\"http:\/\/thedanreport.blogspot.com\/2006\/03\/ctv-mclellan-supporting-bob-rae.html\">supporting Bob Rae<\/a>. I kid you not.
