And maybe I have been. After all, if Jack says he can solve Canada&#8217;s doctor shortage by paying new doctors <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctv.ca\/CTVNews\/SpecialEvent7\/20110426\/ignatieff-layton-government-110425\/\">$3,472<\/a> a head, then who am I to doubt him? The man has a nice smile, so I guess he should be taken at his word.<\/p>\n<p>So in an effort to make amends, I will begin profiling members of his team. Sadly, many of his candidates are unknown to Canadians, by virtue of them <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/news\/canada\/politics\/article\/980703--walkom-mystery-surrounds-ndp-candidate-in-toronto\">not having told anyone they&#8217;re running for office<\/a>. To ensure Jack&#8217;s poll numbers translate into seats, it&#8217;s important for Canadians to get to know who they will be voting for.<\/p>\n<p>So, let&#8217;s begin!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ruthellenbrosseau.ndp.ca\/\"><strong>Ruth Ellen Brosseau<\/strong><\/a> (Berthier&#8211;Maskinong\u00e9 &#8211; Quebec): Ruth is an assistant manager at Oliver&#8217;s Pub, and enjoys rehabilitating injured animals. She is currently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/news\/politics\/ottawa-notebook\/ndp-candidate-takes-mid-campaign-vacation-in-vegas\/article1999879\/?utm_medium=Feeds%3A%20RSS%2FAtom&amp;utm_source=Campaign%20Notebook&amp;utm_content=1999879\">vacationing in Las Vegas<\/a>, and who can blame her?
