The good news for the Liberals is that they&#8217;ve closed the fundraising gap. The bad news? It&#8217;s still an 8 million dollar gap, which grows to about 11 million when you consider the per-vote subsidies.<\/p>\n<p>Via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.punditsguide.ca\/\">Pundits&#8217; Guide<\/a>, here&#8217;s a look at the year-over-year numbers, since Harper cut the donation cap:<br \/><img style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433666105795205554\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_L6NW1UySEKs\/S2hCiNAA2bI\/AAAAAAAABpA\/VNE8H-gJQRA\/s320\/contributions.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pundits Guide also has the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.punditsguide.ca\/2010\/02\/2009-contributions-by-week-and-annual.php\">dollar breakdown<\/a> &#8211; it&#8217;s not perfect since this still includes &#8220;double dip&#8221; donations, but it clearly shows the Tory advantage remains on the small donation front.
