You can define that however you see fit, but the general goal is to find a political moment in Canada that was both captivating at the time, while leaving a long term impact on our country and its politics. So looking back at the aughts, what really stood out?<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to everyone for the <a href=\"http:\/\/calgarygrit.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/party-like-its-2009.html\">suggestions<\/a>. From those, I\u2019ve cobbled together a list of 30 events and will leave voting open for a week.
