Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.macleans.ca\/2009\/06\/15\/bring-on-the-storm-and-fury-liveblogging-michael-ignatieff-at-the-npt\/#more-64311\">Kady&#8217;s recap of Iggy&#8217;s demands<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">11:09:39 AM<br \/>On EI \u2013 he wants to hear what the PM is proposing, as far as reform of the existing system, now \u2013 not in three months, and he\u2019s willing to sit longer if necessary, which prompts a collective silent scream from the hostages currently mentally rebooking their summer vacations.<\/p>\n<p>Second \u2013 he wants to make sure shovels are in the ground \u2014 no specific demand that I can make out, just a general gripe.<\/p>\n<p>Third \u2013 our public finances, and the governmen\u2019s hamhanded handling thereof.
