{"id":2224,"date":"2009-04-10T18:16:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-10T22:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calgarygrit.ca\/?p=2224"},"modified":"2009-04-10T18:16:00","modified_gmt":"2009-04-10T22:16:00","slug":"lpc-ammendments-and-policies-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calgarygrit.ca\/?p=2224","title":{"rendered":"LPC Ammendments and Policies Online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I know this blog has been <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">annoyingly<\/span> &#8220;inside baseball&#8221; of late but, really, what else is going on these days&#8230;except for Brian Mulroney&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/canada\/montreal\/story\/2009\/04\/09\/mulroney-conservative-mackay-0409.html\">joyful dismemberment<\/a> of the Conservative Party (again!).<\/p>\n<p>But there is some more internal Liberal news out there with the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\">LPC<\/span> releasing the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liberal.ca\/pdf\/docs\/convention09_constitution_rules_e.pdf\">constitutional <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">amendments<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liberal.ca\/pdf\/docs\/convention09_policypriorityresolutions_e.pdf\">policies<\/a> that will be voted on the first weekend at May by Liberals in Vancouver. If 40 pages of constitutional <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">amendments<\/span> to debate and vote upon doesn&#8217;t boost convention attendance, I don&#8217;t know what will!<\/p>\n<p>The Globe summarizes some of the policies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/RTGAM.20090410.wPOLliberals0410\/BNStory\/politics\/home\">here<\/a> (and, surprise, surprise, guess which policy they&#8217;re drawn to?
