No, what impresses me about this is <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">Hehr&#8217;s<\/span> use of new media to build a grass roots campaign to build buzz around his bill. In addition to the obvious <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">facebook<\/span> group, <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\">Hehr<\/span> has set up a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bill201.com\/\">website<\/a> that collects contact information from interested Albertans and gives you the opportunity to spread the message <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_6\">virally<\/span>. The e-mail invite directing me to the site was also <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_7\">cc&#8217;d<\/span> to Ed <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_8\">Stelmach<\/span> automatically, and the site makes it incredibly easy for you to contact your <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_9\">MLA<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>So a tip of the hat to Kent <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_10\">Hehr<\/span>&#8230;these sort of the campaigns are certainly the future of politics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rookie Calgary Buffalo MLA Kent Hehr has put forward a private members bill in an attempt to curb gun violence in Alberta.
