But insiders say former New Brunswick MP Paul Zed will effectively take on that role \u2013 without the title \u2013 until a permanent top aide can be found.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Davey, who was instrumental in wooing Mr. <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">Ignatieff<\/span> back to Canada from Harvard and who ran his 2006 leadership campaign, has been named principal secretary.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">Sachin<\/span> <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\">Aggarwal<\/span>, operations director during the leadership campaigns, will take on the job of deputy chief of staff.<\/p>\n<p>Jill <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_6\">Fairbrother<\/span> and Leslie Church, both of whom handled media relations for Mr. <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_7\">Ignatieff&#8217;s<\/span> leadership bids, will share communications responsibilities in the Opposition leader&#8217;s office as well.<\/p>\n<p>Rocco <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_8\">Rossi<\/span>, CEO of Ontario&#8217;s Heart and Stroke Foundation, is expected to assume the party&#8217;s top administrative job, replacing Greg Fergus.<\/p>\n<p>Don Guy, a former chief of staff to Ontario Premier Dalton <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_9\">McGuinty<\/span>, is expected to be named campaign director while Warren <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_10\">Kinsella<\/span> will manage the war room, as he&#8217;s done in the past for Mr. <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_11\">McGuinty<\/span> and former prime minister Jean <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_12\">Chr\u00e9tien<\/span>. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ignatieff&#8217;s office begins to take shape, with a lot of familiar names, from Aggarwal to Zed&#8230; [Ignatieff] has yet to hire a chief of staff to run his office.
