Last election saw the popular vote translate into seats in a fairly representative fashion, but in the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">pre<\/span>&#8211;<span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">ADQ<\/span> world the electoral map always heavily favoured the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\">PQ<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The best case of that is 1998, when the Liberals got 44%, the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_6\">PQ<\/span> 43%, and the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_7\">ADQ<\/span> 12%, but we ended up with a 76-48-1 <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_8\">PQ<\/span>-Lib-<span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_9\">ADQ<\/span> seat split. Now, I hate bringing this up because the PR folks are going to go bonkers, but if the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_10\">ADQ<\/span> vote stays depressed, I think the possibility of a <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_11\">PQ<\/span> win is very real if they can get themselves to within 3% or so of <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_12\">Charest<\/span> in the polls.
