My pot pourri<\/span> election pool<\/a> asked readers to answer 10 questions about the election. Before I reveal the winners, here are the answers:<\/p>\n

1. Will Elizabeth May win her seat? <\/strong>Uhh<\/span>…no. Not even close.<\/p>\n

2. Will Justin Trudeau win his seat? <\/strong>Yup. One of 4 Liberal pick-ups this election.<\/p>\n

3. Will Senator Michael Fortier<\/span> win his seat?<\/strong> Again, not even close.<\/p>\n

4. Will the Liberals win a seat in Alberta?<\/strong> No. And I’m really kicking myself for not wording it as “will the Tories win every seat in Alberta<\/em>?”.<\/p>\n

5. How many seats in Quebec will the NDP<\/span> win?<\/strong> Just one. Just barely.<\/p>\n

6. Which polling company’s final numbers will be closest to the actual result? <\/strong>Angus Reid <\/a>takes the top prize – something no one predicted.<\/p>\n

7. Which party will run the most vicious attack ad?<\/strong> I’ve decided to give this one to the NDP<\/span> for their Quebec Bush ad<\/a>. It was also, in my opinion, the best ad of the campaign.<\/p>\n

8. Will the word “abortion” be used in a major party TV ad?<\/strong> Not in an ad, no.<\/p>\n

9. Which leader will get the most points in the gaffe pool?<\/strong> The Tories take this one.<\/p>\n

10. Conservative Party over\/under in Crowfoot – 80%.<\/strong> Shockingly, over. 82%.<\/p>\n

Tie-Breaker: Number of seats won by the Conservatives. <\/strong>143<\/p>\n
