Once again, the seeds have been selected from the list of <a href=\"http:\/\/calgarygrit.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/election-election.html\">reader nominations<\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapters.indigo.ca\/books\/Fights-Our-Lives-Elections-Leadership-John-Duffy\/9780002000895-item.html\">Fights of our Lives<\/a> author John Duffy. Voting will close at 10 pm on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alberta_general_election,_1935\">1935 Alberta (8) <\/a>vs. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Quebec_general_election,_1976\">1976 Quebec (1)<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color:#cc0000;\">1935 Alberta (Aberhart over the UFA):<\/span> Brownlee and the farmers knocked down to 0 seats after he&#8217;s set up in a faux sex scandal. The crazy SoCreds take over going from zero seats to 36 years in power, tilting Alberta to the right for the next 70+ years.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color:#cc0000;\">1976 Quebec (Levesque over Bourassa):<\/span> Rene Levesque surges to power, and puts the threat to Canada&#8217;s unity on the cover of TIME magazine.
