For those who missed it, the Hill Times released their annual MP awards<\/a> (referred<\/span> to as the “Hillies<\/span>” my me and, nobody else). And the winners are…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Sexiest MP<\/strong><\/p>\n

First Maxime<\/span> Bernier<\/span> takes over Peter MacKay’s<\/span> job in foreign affairs. Then he ends MacKay’s<\/span> 9 year reign as the “sexiest MP” on the Hill. Anyone know who Belinda is dating these days?<\/p>\n

For the women, Rona Ambrose was voted sexiest MP – and here I’d thought she was invisible.<\/p>\n

Best Sense of Humour<\/strong><\/p>\n

The NDP’s<\/span> Peter Stoffer<\/span> takes this one, ahead of Monte Solberg<\/span> and Merv Tweed. I don’t know much about Merv Tweed, but I can’t imagine someone named “Merv Tweed” not <\/em>being funny.<\/p>\n

Stoffer<\/span> is the “Frasier” of the Hillies<\/span>, winning a slew of awards this year – best constit<\/span> MP, throws best hill parties, and most generous to staff.<\/p>\n

The worst sense of humour list is no surprise – Stephen Harper, Stephane<\/span> Dion, Ralph Goodale<\/span>, and Peter Van Loan.<\/p>\n

Worst Dressed\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

With Myron retiring, someone else will finally have a chance to win this one but, until then, it’s no contest.<\/p>\n

Best Orator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iggy and Harper in the house. Harper and Iggy out of it. Meanwhile, Prentice and Baird tie as the best Cabmin<\/span> in QP<\/span>, followed by Van Loan and MacKay<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Most Quotable<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stephen Harper, which makes sense given that he doesn’t let anyone else in his caucus talk. Harper also takes hardest working – since he’s basically running and entire party and country by himself, I’d say that’s fair enough. And he completes the hat trick with “best fundraiser” – it’s shocking<\/em> that a Liberal didn’t win<\/a> that one, eh?<\/p>\n

Biggest Gossip<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pierre Pollievre<\/span> edges out Garth Turner and Ruby Dhalla<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Most Ambitious<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hey, it’s Pierre Pollievre<\/span> again! Runner up to Ignatieff<\/span>. Pierre is left off the “best up and comer” list though (for obvious reasons some might say) – instead, it’s Navdeep<\/span>, James Moore, Mark Holland, and that young wipper<\/span> snapper Bob Rae.<\/p>\n

Biggest Self-Promoter<\/strong><\/p>\n

6 names make the list due to ties: Baird, Pollievre<\/span> (again!), Turner, Iggy, Holland, and Layton.<\/p>\n

And, finally, the one we’ve all been waiting for,<\/p>\n
