Not bad. It\u2019s no \u201c<em><span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">un<\/span> <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_1\">parti<\/span> proper <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\">au<\/span> Quebec<\/em>\u201d (one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ledevoir.com\/2004\/05\/17\/54770.html\">greatest slogans ever<\/a>) but it\u2019s passable.<\/p>\n<p>However, rather than translate, I\u2019d stick with the French original in English because it works oh so well: \u201c<em><span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">Pr\u00e9sent<\/span> pour <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">le<\/span> <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\">Qu\u00e9bec<\/span><\/em>\u201d. An Anglo looking at that and seeing \u201c<em>present for Quebec<\/em>\u201d would be forgiven for believing the Bloc had just launched the most brutally honest slogan in the history of Canadian politics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new Bloc Quebecois slogan translates to \u201cHere for Quebec\u201d.
