{"id":1724,"date":"2008-03-31T11:45:00","date_gmt":"2008-03-31T15:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calgarygrit.ca\/?p=1724"},"modified":"2008-03-31T11:45:00","modified_gmt":"2008-03-31T15:45:00","slug":"liberal-critics-shuffle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calgarygrit.ca\/?p=1724","title":{"rendered":"Liberal Critics Shuffle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>-Rae stays in Foreign Affairs, while Findlay and Murray will get eased in with associate and vice chair portfolios.<\/p>\n<p>-In the most interesting move of this shuffle, and one which will probably be overlooked by a lot of people, Gerard Kennedy is the new intergovernmental affairs critic from outside caucus, replacing Dominic <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">LeBlanc<\/span> (who also holds Justice). Given the recent squabbling between <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_1\">Flaherty<\/span> and <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\">McGuinty<\/span>, I doubt it\u2019s coincidental that Dion has moved a high profile former <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">McGuinty<\/span> Cabinet Minister into this portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>-With all that\u2019s been going on in Quebec, it\u2019s interesting to see <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">Coderre<\/span> shuffled out of Defense to Heritage, <strike>and <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\">Raymonde<\/span> <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_6\">Folco<\/span> dropped. <\/strike><strong><em>(update: Folco was shuffled out last fall&#8230;silly internet is slow updating these things)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>UPDATE:<\/em><\/strong> Here&#8217;s the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www3.thestar.com\/static\/PDF\/080331_seating_plan.pdf\">Liberal seating chart<\/a>, for people who care about that sort of thing.
