It was interesting to see Jim Flaherty and Peter MacKay there to present the Grey Cup. I can understand why the Minister of Defense was there when the player of the game had three interceptions but the Finance Minister?<\/p>\n<p>-Speaking of the aforementioned Flaherty, why is Peter Van Loan trying to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/News\/article\/278309\">pick a fight with Dalton McGuinty <\/a>after Flaherty <em>ended <\/em>the era of provincial bickering this spring?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5137373252308935890\" style=\"DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_L6NW1UySEKs\/R0udwQZ3pNI\/AAAAAAAAARE\/M-Uyf_GgB00\/s320\/van+loan.bmp\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>-It&#8217;s great to see Stephen Harper <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/comment\/article\/279726\">leading on the world stage <\/a>at the recent Commonwealth meetings. Harper&#8217;s courageous fight against climate change action this weekend brought back memories of Brian Mulroney bringing the Commonwealth onside with Canada to fight apartheid in South Africa. Bravo Mr Prime Minister!<\/p>\n<p>-For those following the <a href=\"http:\/\/calgarygrit.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/mana-from-heaven-for-calgary-egmont.html\">Craig Chandler saga<\/a>, it sounds like the PCs will be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edmontonsun.com\/News\/Alberta\/2007\/11\/23\/4678632-sun.html\">deciding <\/a>to disqualify his nomination at a December 1st meeting which, one imagines, Chandler will not take sitting down.<\/p>\n<p>-Mike Huckabee has a great add with Chuck Norris endorsing him.
