Since political geeks love nothing more than to debate electoral reform, I figured I&#8217;d toss open a thread on the topic for people to weigh in.<\/p>\n<p>I personally don&#8217;t have strong feelings on the topic. I&#8217;ve always had a soft spot for the first past the post system, but <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\">MMP<\/span> would likely mean <a href=\"http:\/\/calgarygrit.blogspot.com\/2007\/05\/random-thoughts-on-mmp-ontario.html\">nearly permanent <\/a>Liberal government in Ontario so I don&#8217;t have a huge problem with it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A lot of Libloggers are getting into the MMP debate.
