My personal pick would have been John <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_1\">Brownlee<\/span>, but without him in the poll, I&#8217;d have to reluctantly go with <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\">Lougheed<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>-In the search for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.demochoice.org\/dcballot.php?poll=premier\"><span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">BC&#8217;s<\/span> least corrupt Premier<\/a>, it&#8217;s Bennett leading Barrett and Bennett, on the 6<span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">th<\/span> ballot.<\/p>\n<p>-Manitoba has their <a href=\"http:\/\/endlessspin.blogspot.com\/\">Final Four<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-PEI is on to the <a href=\"http:\/\/markgreenan.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/peis-best-premier-quarter-finals.html\">quarter-finals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-It was <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\">Robichaud<\/span> over <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_6\">McKenna<\/span> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/nbpolitico.blogspot.com\/\">preliminary round in New Brunswick<\/a>&#8230;round two should be up today.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/northernontarioliberal.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/ontarios-greatest-premier-finals.html\">Ontario <\/a>is now <a href=\"http:\/\/www.demochoice.org\/dcballot.php?norot=on&amp;poll=Ontario\">voting <\/a>for a champion.<\/p>\n<p>-Taking a break from spoiling the Harry Potter book and telling kids there&#8217;s no such thing as Santa Clause, the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_7\">SDA<\/span> crowd has decided to stack the Saskatchewan poll in favour of <a href=\"http:\/\/devliegerd.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/canadas-greatest-premier-saskatchewan.html\">Grant <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_8\">Devine<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-Oh, and Nova <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_9\">Scotia<\/span> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mikepowell.ca\/general\/2007\/07\/23\/best-premier-ever-nova-scotia-edition\/\">off and running<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-Also on the East Coast, the field has been <a href=\"http:\/\/wildrosecitygrit.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/greatest-premier-contest-newfoundland.html\">announced in Newfoundland<\/a>, with voting set to start tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>-That just leaves Quebec and I have it on good authority that the people at <a href=\"http:\/\/fuddle-duddle.blogspot.com\/\">Fuddle-<span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_10\">Duddle<\/span> <\/a>will have the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_11\">bilingual<\/span> ballot up and running shortly. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Things are in full swing in the search for Canada&#8217;s best Premier&#8230; -In Alberta, Manning and Klein are neck and neck with Lougheed nipping on their heels.
