Last year, I reported on the <a href=\"http:\/\/calgarygrit.blogspot.com\/2006\/04\/leadership-race-on-everyones-mind.html#comments\">PEI <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">NDP<\/span> race<\/a>, won in a close 29 to 19 vote. This week, the Nova <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_1\">Scotia<\/span> Green Party held their <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\">AGM<\/span> and, in a tight three-way race, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/RTGAM.20070506.wnsgreens0506\/BNStory\/National\/home\">Ken McGowan<\/a> emerged the winner in a 32 to 20 to 9 nail bitter.<\/p>\n<p>-Apparently the <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">oilsands<\/span> will be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/RTGAM.20070507.woilsands00507\/BNStory\/National\/home\">exempt <\/a>from several of the clean air regulations&#8230;you can bet the opposition parties are just going to <em>love <\/em>this.<\/p>\n<p>-Meet the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/LAC.20070507.POLL07\/TPStory\/?query=polling+conservative\">new<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/RTGAM.20070507.wtoryhidden0507\/BNStory\/National\/home\">boss<\/a>, same as the old boss. <strong><em>UPDATE: <\/em><\/strong>And Lawrence Cannon gets <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctv.ca\/servlet\/ArticleNews\/story\/CTVNews\/20070509\/tories_expenses_070509\/20070509?hub=QPeriod\">hit <\/a>too&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>-Leeds-Grenville <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/RTGAM.20070508.wtroyimpos0508\/BNStory\/National\/home\">Conservative MP <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">Gord<\/span> Brown <\/a>(no doubt busy campaigning for Tony Blair&#8217;s job), has been caught <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\">Jaffering<\/span> a constituent.<\/p>\n<p>-Didn&#8217;t take long for Justin Trudeau to attract <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/RTGAM.20070508.wtrudeau08\/BNStory\/National\/home\">controversy. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>-After going <a href=\"http:\/\/calgarygrit.blogspot.com\/2007\/04\/they-work-hard-for-their-money.html\">7 for 8<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/calgarygrit.blogspot.com\/2007\/04\/bag-o-links.html\">3 for 4<\/a> in the first two rounds, I&#8217;ll take my chances and bet against Detroit for the third straight round.
