{"id":1270,"date":"2007-02-01T01:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-02-01T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calgarygrit.ca\/?p=1270"},"modified":"2007-02-01T01:00:00","modified_gmt":"2007-02-01T06:00:00","slug":"harpers-so-fat-he-has-his-own-zip-code","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calgarygrit.ca\/?p=1270","title":{"rendered":"Harper&#8217;s So Fat He Has His Own Zip Code"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Like Helena Guergis, I too am quite upset about Dion&#8217;s alleged &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctv.ca\/servlet\/ArticleNews\/story\/CTVNews\/20070131\/harper_dion_070131\/20070131?hub=TopStories\">fat joke<\/a>&#8221; directed towards Stephen Harper:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family:times new roman;\">The Liberal leader joked that the exercise room at Stornaway &#8212; the official residence of the leader of the Opposition &#8212; had been refurbished.<\/p>\n<p>And he said the new workout room would benefit his successor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Maybe Mr. Harper will have the opportunity to lose his (extra) weight now because we have this exercise room,&#8221; Dion said.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;m not so much upset that he called Harper fat, but rather that he did so using such a weak joke. Even Colin Mayes wouldn&#8217;t find this one funny. They really need to hire back <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.macleans.ca\/advansis\/?mod=for&#038;act=dis&amp;eid=13\">Feschuk <\/a>because the new guy writing Dion&#8217;s material is just lame.
