Prominent Evangelical (and “Bush ally”) Ted Haggard is in trouble over allegedly “visiting” a male prostitute.<\/p>\n

Uh-oh.<\/p>\n

Here’s what Haggard’s had to say <\/a>about homosexuals in the past:<\/p>\n

Although he has called homosexuality immoral and something that “excludes one from the Kingdom of God”, in his television interview he was at pains to say he has never preached anything that could be called hateful.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Luckily Haggard has clarified things<\/a>. He’s admitted to having visited the male prostitute but claims he did not “visit” with him. He simply got a massage and bought some meth (which he did not use!) – seems believable enough to me. Who among us haven’t gotten a massage from a prostitute and bought some meth we simply threw away in the past? I know I routinely spend thousands of dollars on drugs I don’t use.
